ZY-hosetube Pool Backwash Hose 1.5-inch x 100 ft — Heavy-Duty PVC Discharge, Reinforced Flat-Fold

ZY-hosetube Pool Backwash Hose 1.5" × 100 ft is a heavy-duty, flexible PVC discharge hose designed to handle high water flow for pool backwashing and cleanup tasks.

This 1.5-inch inner-diameter hose stretches 100 feet to give you reach from pool filter to discharge point without dragging equipment around. Built with a reinforced polyester outer braid and a tough, smooth extruded vinyl inner wall, the hose resists abrasion, tearing, and bursting while maintaining a low-friction pathway for efficient water flow. It ships with two clamps for a fast fit to common pump outlets and can be used with camlock or lug fittings, or clamped directly to PVC pipe.

How durable is this 1.5" pool discharge hose for routine backwashing?

The hose combines a heavy polyester braided exterior with a thick extruded vinyl inner layer to stand up to heavy use and higher pressures. Its construction reduces the chance of punctures or abrasions during seasonal handling and storage.

• Outer: high-quality polyester yarn for abrasion and tear resistance
• Inner: heavy-duty extruded vinyl for smooth flow and anti-leak performance
• Rated to withstand typical pool pump pressures and large water volumes

Will this hose fit my pump or pool backwash outlet?

The inside diameter is the industry-standard 1.5 inches, so it connects easily to pump outlets and backwash ports that accept up to 1.5" OD fittings. Two metal clamps are included so you can secure the hose to camlock, pin lug, or plain PVC connections.

• 1.5" ID fits standard pump/discharge outlets up to 1.5" OD
• Includes two clamps for immediate installation
• Compatible with camlock/pin lug fittings or direct clamped PVC

How easy is it to handle, store, and transport a 100-foot backwash hose?

Despite its length and reinforced build, the hose is lightweight and designed to fold flat for compact storage. After rinsing it clean, fold it along the flat-fold profile to save space and reduce kinking; avoid prolonged sunlight exposure to prolong service life.

• Flat-fold design for compact storage
• Lightweight construction for easier carrying and positioning
• Rinse and fold to prevent residue buildup and extend lifespan

What kind of water flow and performance can I expect during backwash?

The smooth inner vinyl wall minimizes friction, enabling high-volume discharge and maintaining steady pressure during backwash cycles. This makes it suitable for rapid filtration cleaning and routine pool draining tasks without bottlenecking your pump.

• Smooth interior promotes efficient water discharge
• High water output supports fast backwash cycles
• Reinforced build helps the hose resist bulging at higher flow rates
