Weber Crafted Stainless‑Steel Roasting Basket — Fits Crafted Frame, Fine Perforation for Vegetables & Seafood

The Weber Crafted Roasting Basket is a stainless‑steel insert that converts a Weber Crafted-compatible grill into a precise roaster for vegetables, seafood, and small cuts without food falling through the grates. Bring controlled roasting to your outdoor kitchen: this stainless-steel basket is engineered to fit the Weber Crafted frame and grates so you can sear, caramelize and evenly brown delicate or small items that would otherwise drop through traditional grill bars. It’s built for consistent heat circulation, quick cleanup, and long-term durability so you can broaden what you cook on your grill—everything from glazed carrots and asparagus to scallops, diced chicken, and small roasted potatoes.

How does the roasting basket prevent small foods from falling through the grill?

The basket features a tight perforation pattern and raised sides that hold tiny or thin pieces securely while still allowing smoke and direct heat to reach the food. Its shape creates a shallow pan that keeps items moving without letting them escape, so you can shake or stir contents for even browning.

• Fine perforations stop small pieces like shrimp and chopped vegetables.
• Raised, welded sides retain food during turning or shaking.
• Shallow design allows direct heat contact for caramelization.

Will it fit my grill and how do I install it?

This roasting basket is made specifically for Weber Crafted-compatible grills and slides into the Weber Crafted frame in place of the right-side cooking grate. Confirm your grill model supports the Weber Crafted system before purchasing; installation is tool-free and swaps in seconds when the frame and grates are already installed.

• Compatible only with Weber Crafted frame and Crafted cooking grates.
• No tools required—replace the right-side grate with the basket.
• Works with the full Weber Crafted Outdoor Kitchen Collection accessories.

How does the stainless-steel construction affect cooking and care?

High-quality stainless steel provides strong, even heat transfer while resisting warping and corrosion from outdoor use. The smooth finish minimizes food adhesion and is dishwasher safe for fast cleanup, though hand washing preserves the finish longer.

• Durable stainless steel stands up to high grill temperatures.
• Even heat circulation promotes uniform roasting of vegetables and proteins.
• Dishwasher-safe for easy cleanup; hand wash to extend surface life.

What kinds of recipes and techniques work best in the roasting basket?

The basket excels at items that benefit from close, steady heat without direct contact with grate bars—think caramelized vegetables, quick-seared seafood, or small meat cubes for skewers. You can toss ingredients with oil and seasoning and shake the basket while cooking to achieve even color without constant fork-handling.

• Roast vegetables such as carrots, brussels sprouts, and peppers evenly.
• Sear delicate seafood like scallops and shrimp without losing pieces through grates.
• Toss diced chicken, mushrooms, or small potatoes for even browning.

Who is this for: The Weber Crafted Roasting Basket is intended for home cooks and outdoor chefs who already own a Weber Crafted-compatible grill frame and want to expand grilling techniques to include roasting and caramelizing small or delicate foods. It’s ideal for anyone who values durable cookware, quick cleanup, and the ability to prepare a wider range of recipes on their grill without losing pieces through the grates. Whether you’re building a full outdoor kitchen or upgrading a weekend grill setup, this accessory brings precise roasting performance to the barbecue.
