Free UK delivery on every order. Packed within 1 business day; typically delivered in 2–4 business days (3–6 for Highlands, islands and NI). Every parcel is tracked.
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
Free 30-day returns. Email us for a prepaid label — refunds land within 3–5 business days of the return arriving. Your statutory rights always apply on top.
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Victron SmartSolar MPPT Tr 150V 70A is a high-efficiency solar charge controller that quickly harvests energy from PV arrays and delivers optimized charging to batteries.
The SmartSolar MPPT Tr 150V 70A combines Victron Energy's latest maximum power point tracking (MPPT) algorithms with a robust 150V input and 70 amp output to maximize energy capture from solar panels. Designed for residential, mobile, and off-grid systems, it speeds up charging while protecting your battery bank and solar array with reliable electronics and intelligent control features. It supports smart communication for monitoring and configuration, letting you see performance in real time and adjust settings to match your battery chemistry.
The SmartSolar MPPT Tr uses advanced, rapid tracking algorithms to follow the solar array's true maximum power point, especially during changing light conditions. That reduces power loss and improves daily energy yield versus older PWM or slower MPPT units. The controller also accepts higher PV voltages (up to 150V) so you can wire panels in longer strings for lower losses.
Victron designed the unit with multiple safety and durability measures to protect both the solar array and the batteries. Temperature compensation, overcurrent protection, and intelligent charging limits help prolong battery life and prevent damage under abnormal conditions. The enclosure and thermal design support stable operation at higher ambient temperatures.
The SmartSolar Tr includes smart connectivity options for local and remote monitoring. Use Victron's apps and interfaces to view real-time panels, battery status, historical performance, and to change charge parameters for different battery chemistries. This makes tuning and troubleshooting straightforward for installers and end users alike.
Plan for appropriate cable sizing and ventilated mounting to handle 70A continuous current and heat dissipation. Because the controller accepts PV voltages up to 150V, you can reduce conductor losses by wiring panels in series, but ensure panel Voc stays below the unit’s limit in cold conditions. Follow Victron’s wiring diagrams and safety guidelines for best results.
Who is this for: The Victron SmartSolar MPPT Tr 150V 70A is aimed at homeowners, RV and marine installers, and off-grid system builders who need fast, efficient solar charging for medium to large battery banks. It suits anyone upgrading from PWM controllers, installers seeking flexible array wiring, and users who want smart monitoring and configurable charge profiles to match modern battery chemistries.
Q: Can this controller charge lithium batteries?
A: Yes — it supports configurable charge profiles for lithium chemistries; set parameters via Victron’s app or interface.
Q: What is the maximum PV input voltage?
A: Maximum PV open-circuit voltage is 150V; ensure your array Voc stays below this at coldest temperatures.
