You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

The Victron Energy Lynx Shunt IP22 VE.Can is a compact, intelligent 1000‑amp battery shunt with integrated bus‑bars and a fuse location, offering precise state‑of‑charge monitoring and VE.Can communication for system integration.
This modular Lynx Shunt is designed to be the control center of a DC power distribution system: it combines a heavy‑duty negative bus‑bar with a calibrated 1000 A shunt and a positive bus‑bar that accepts a replaceable fuse (fuse not included). Built‑in battery monitoring collects current and voltage data, while a VE.Can port lets you connect a Victron GX device for remote monitoring, logging, and configuration. The robust IP22 enclosure and M8 terminals make it suitable for marine, mobile, and off‑grid installations where space and reliable monitoring are essential.
The unit measures current flow through its precision 1000 A shunt and tracks battery voltage to estimate state of charge. That data is processed by the onboard monitor and made available to GX devices over VE.Can, giving you accurate charge accounting and historical usage trends.
The Lynx Shunt combines a negative bus‑bar with an M8 shunt connection and a separate positive bus‑bar with a dedicated location to mount a CNN fuse. It is intended to be the central negative distribution point in a DC system, simplifying wiring and providing a single place for current measurement.
Integration is straightforward via the VE.Can port: connect the Lynx Shunt to a Victron GX device to view real‑time current, voltage, and state‑of‑charge, and to log historical performance. Once linked, system settings and monitoring are centralized, which helps with system tuning and troubleshooting.
Incorrect installation can create safety hazards; always follow local electrical codes and consult a licensed electrician or installer. The Lynx Shunt requires proper torqueing of M8 terminals, correct fuse selection for the positive bus, and secure VE.Can connections to ensure reliable operation and safety.
Who is this for? The Victron Energy Lynx Shunt IP22 VE.Can 1000 amp (M8) is aimed at installers, marine electricians, off‑grid homeowners, and anyone building a high‑current DC power system who needs reliable central current measurement and VE.Can integration. It suits systems that require a compact, serviceable bus with a place for a fused positive feed and accurate state‑of‑charge monitoring tied into a Victron GX monitoring ecosystem.
Q: Does the Lynx Shunt include the fuse?
A: No, the Lynx Shunt provides a fuse mounting location but the CNN fuse must be purchased separately.
Q: Can I monitor the shunt remotely?
A: Yes — connect the Lynx Shunt to a Victron GX device via VE.Can for remote monitoring and logging.
