Vgo Leather Chainsaw Gloves (left-hand GA8912, size S) are purpose-built protective gloves with an internal chainsaw-stopper patch that meets EN ISO 11393-4 Level 1 (1.20 m/s), combining cut resistance with goatskin comfort and high-visibility stretch back.
These gloves are engineered for people who work with chainsaws, power tools, or in forestry environments and need a left-hand barrier against accidental blade contact without sacrificing dexterity. The design blends a goatskin leather palm for tactile control, textured PVC reinforcement for wear resistance, and a high-visibility stretch spandex back to improve movement and breathability. A neoprene cuff with hook-and-loop closure secures the fit for extended use.
The left-hand contains an internal chainsaw-stopper fabric patch positioned across the back of the hand to slow or catch a moving chain. It is tested to EN ISO 11393-4 Level 1 (1.20 m/s), offering a standardized level of cut resistance appropriate for many outdoor and light professional tasks. This feature reduces the risk of chain penetration in common working situations.
Yes — comfort was a priority: the goatskin leather palm offers natural softness and excellent grip, while pre-curved fingers and a 45° angled cut at finger junctions reduce fatigue and improve fit. The stretch spandex back adds ventilation and freedom of movement so hands stay cooler during sustained work. Textured PVC patches on the palm improve durability where gripping stress is highest.
The gloves use a neoprene cuff plus hook-and-loop strap to ensure a snug, adjustable fit that keeps debris out and the stopper patch correctly positioned. For storage and maintenance, avoid direct sunlight, corrosive chemicals, alkaline contact, heat, and flames to prevent material degradation. Keep them dry and ventilated when not in use to maintain protective properties and leather condition.
These left-hand gloves are tailored for chainsaw operation, logging, forestry work, and a range of power-tool or heavy-duty DIY tasks where cut resistance and hand control are essential. They balance protection with dexterity so they work well for jobs requiring frequent tool handling and manipulation. The high-visibility back improves worker awareness in outdoor or low-light settings.
Who is this for? The Vgo GA8912 left-hand leather chainsaw glove in size S is intended for professionals and serious hobbyists who operate chainsaws or power tools and need a balance of cut-resistance, tactile feedback, and all-day comfort. Choose these gloves if you require standardized chainsaw protection on your leading hand, prefer goatskin for grip and feel, and value an ergonomic fit with reinforced wear zones.
Q: Does this glove protect the left hand from chainsaw cuts?
A: Yes. The left-hand glove has an internal chainsaw-stopper patch tested to EN ISO 11393-4 Level 1 (1.20 m/s) to reduce chain penetration risk.
Q: Can I use these gloves for long workdays?
A: Yes. Goatskin palm, pre-curved fingers, and a stretch back deliver comfort and dexterity for extended wear.
