SuperMoss Raindrop Birdhouse 10 x 13 in — Fresh Green woven, weather-resistant with chain

Handcrafted from sturdy SuperMoss moss vine, this raindrop-shaped birdhouse measures 10 by 13 inches and arrives in a fresh green finish ready to hang. Built using the same weave technique as SuperMoss baskets, the construction keeps its shape through sun, wind, and rain so the house remains usable season after season. An elegant metal chain is included for simple installation on trees, porches, pergolas, or garden hooks.

How does the woven construction hold up outdoors?

The house uses tightly woven SuperMoss moss vine designed for exterior use, resisting deformation and breakdown longer than loosely assembled nests. The weave allows drainage and airflow while maintaining structural integrity.

• Durable moss-vine weave resists weather exposure
• Shape-retaining construction for multiple seasons
• Natural materials provide ventilation and drainage

How do I hang and position the Raindrop Birdhouse?

Install the supplied chain on a sturdy branch or hook, aiming to hang the house at a height and location appropriate for local bird species. Positioning in partial shade and away from heavy predator paths improves sheltering value.

• Includes pre-attached elegant metal chain for quick hanging
• Best hung from secure tree branches, garden hooks, or covered porches
• Place in partial shade and sheltered spots for longevity

Can this birdhouse serve other uses besides nesting?

Yes — its attractive woven finish and hanging chain make it suitable as a small hanging planter or decorative outdoor accent when not used by birds. The natural moss-vine material complements trailing plants and rustic garden decor.

• Use as a hanging planter for small trailing or air plants
• Decorative focal point for porches, patios, or garden rooms
• Lightweight enough to move seasonally for aesthetic changes

What maintenance does the SuperMoss birdhouse need?

Maintenance is minimal: periodically check the chain and attachment point, remove any debris or old nests between seasons, and relocate if excessive moisture accumulates. Avoid prolonged ground contact to reduce wear.

• Inspect hanging hardware and tighten as needed
• Clear debris and old nesting material annually
• Store indoors in extreme winter weather for longest life
