Samhe Outdoor Hanging Bird Feeder — 9.8" Waterproof Metal Roof, 3.5 lb Capacity, Squirrel-Resistant

The Samhe Outdoor Hanging Bird Feeder is a metal, weatherproof seed feeder with a 9.8-inch protective roof and a 3.5-pound capacity that keeps seed dry and resists squirrels.

If you want a low-maintenance, weather-resistant feeder that attracts a wide variety of backyard birds, this Samhe hanging feeder combines a large waterproof dome, solid metal construction and easy refilling. The dome shields seeds from rain and snow while drainage holes and mesh feeding ports support airflow and reduce clumping. Built to be chew- and rust-resistant, it’s designed for long outdoor use on patios, porches, or from tree branches.

How does the large roof protect seeds and birds?

The 9.8-inch dome covers the seed reservoir and feeding ports, deflecting rain and snow and giving visiting birds a sheltered perch. The bottom tray includes drainage holes that quickly channel water away, helping seeds stay dry and reducing spoilage.

• 9.8" wide waterproof metal roof for full coverage
• Multiple drainage holes in the tray for rapid seed drying
• Sheltered feeding area that reduces wet seed clumps

Is this feeder durable enough for harsh weather and squirrels?

Constructed from solid metal, the Samhe feeder resists rust and stands up to outdoor elements better than many plastic models. The sturdy metal also makes it harder for squirrels and larger animals to chew or damage the feeder, increasing longevity and reducing maintenance.

• All-metal body for rust resistance and strength
• Chew-proof construction to deter pests and nibbling
• Weather-resistant finish for long outdoor life

What seeds can I use and how easy is refilling?

The dome lifts easily for quick refills and the medium-sized mesh grid plus three feeding ports accept a broad range of seed types. Use mixed bird seed, sunflower, safflower, peanut halves, cracked corn or similar blends to attract various species without clogging the ports.

• Removable dome for fast, spill-free refills
• Compatible with mixed seeds, sunflower, safflower, peanuts and corn
• Three feeding ports optimize access and reduce waste

Which backyard birds will visit this feeder?

The design encourages a wide assortment of common wild birds by offering accessible feeding ports and a roomy perch area. You can expect visits from cardinals, finches, chickadees, blue jays, warblers, starlings, sparrows and other small- to medium-sized species depending on your location and seed choice.

• Attracts both seed specialists (finches, cardinals) and generalists (jays, starlings)
• Perch-friendly layout so multiple birds can feed comfortably
• Suitable for varied backyard habitats and seasons
