RYOBI wire replacement brush for patio cleaner — 115mm diameter, single-wire bristles for grout and joint cleaning

The RYOBI RAC814 is a 115mm wire replacement brush designed to restore grout and patio joints by removing weeds, moss, and stubborn debris when fitted to compatible RYOBI patio cleaners.

Keep your outdoor paving and tiled areas neat without replacing your entire tool: this single-wire brush is made for use with RYOBI battery-operated patio/grout cleaners and delivers concentrated brushing action that clears growth and grime from narrow joints. It fits specific RYOBI models and is built for the tough contact and abrasion typical of exterior maintenance work.

Will this wire brush fit my RYOBI patio cleaner?

Yes — the RAC814 is engineered as a direct accessory for particular RYOBI patio cleaner models. Confirming compatibility before purchase ensures a secure fit and reliable performance.

• Compatible models: RY18PCA-0, OPC1800, OPC1815.
• Brush diameter: 115 mm for narrow joint access.
• Designed as a replacement accessory—no adapter required for listed models.

How effective is the wire brush on weeds, grass and moss?

This wire brush provides abrasive action focused on grout and narrow joints, knocking out roots, moss and embedded dirt without resorting to chemical treatments. Its design concentrates contact where growth usually takes hold, improving the appearance and helping prevent re-accumulation when combined with routine cleaning.

• Robust wire bristles cut through roots and plant material.
• Sized to reach deep into plaster and masonry joints.
• Works mechanically—no chemicals needed.

How long does the brush last and how should I maintain it?

Service life depends on use frequency and surface abrasiveness, but the RAC814 is built to withstand tough outdoor tasks. To extend lifespan, clean debris from the bristles after each session and store the brush dry to avoid unnecessary corrosion.

• Remove loose material after use with water or a stiff comb.
• Avoid prolonged contact with very rough concrete to reduce wear.
• Replace when bristles are bent, missing, or no longer effective.

What practical results can I expect using this brush?

When paired with a compatible RYOBI patio cleaner, the RAC814 restores joint lines and removes organic growth that makes patios look neglected. It speeds up manual scraping and greatly reduces physical effort compared with hand tools.

• Cleaner, crisper grout lines and joint definition.
• Reduced regrowth when combined with regular maintenance.
• Faster completion of patios and paving compared with hand brushing.

Who is this for: The RYOBI RAC814 wire brush is for homeowners, landscapers and maintenance professionals who already own a compatible RYOBI battery patio or grout cleaner and need a durable replacement or specialized brush for removing weeds, grass, moss and embedded dirt from narrow joints. It suits anyone wanting a mechanical, chemical-free solution that restores outdoor hardscape appearance and speeds up routine patio upkeep.
