This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Built from heavy-duty components in the U.S.A., the Remco 5500 Series pump delivers consistent flow, low operating temperature, and chemical compatibility for herbicides, fertilizers, insecticides, and other liquid transfer tasks. Its sealed motor, Santoprene diaphragm and Viton valves make it suitable for demanding duty cycles, while 14 AWG wire leads and a compact footprint simplify installation on sprayers, utility vehicles, and equipment wash stations.
The 5.3 GPM demand mode keeps spray pressure near 60 PSI while minimizing motor heat, helping the pump run efficiently during repeated cycles. Designed for intermittent duty, the pump handles long sessions typical of field spraying and equipment cleaning.
Materials were selected for broad compatibility with common agricultural chemicals without sacrificing durability. The Santoprene diaphragm and Viton valves resist degradation from many herbicides, fertilizers, and insecticides, while construction tolerates fluids used for washdown and fluid transfer.
Installation is straightforward: secure the pump to a stable mount, connect 12 VDC power with the supplied 14 AWG leads and SAE 2-pin connector, and attach 3/4" quick attach hoses. Self-priming capability and quick attach ports reduce setup time in the field.
The pump supports intermittent duty cycles and can run dry briefly, but the motor lacks internal thermal protection. Keep liquid temperatures below 140°F (60°C) and monitor motor surface temperature to stay under recommended limits for longevity.
Who is this for? The Remco 5.3 GPM Demand Pump is aimed at professionals and serious equipment owners who need a durable, efficient 12 V pump for agricultural spraying, liquid fertilizer transfer, equipment washdown, dust suppression, or automotive fluid exchange. It fits service technicians, contractors, and farmers looking for a U.S.-made, chemically compatible diaphragm pump that balances high flow with low operating temperature. If you require continuous 24/7 operation or have unusual chemical requirements, consult Remco specifications or technical support to confirm suitability before purchase.
Q: Can the pump handle common herbicides and fertilizers?
A: Yes. Santoprene diaphragm and Viton valves are chemically compatible with most herbicides, fertilizers, and insecticides.
Q: What are the electrical and temperature limits?
A: It runs on 12 VDC with 14 AWG leads; max liquid temperature 140°F (60°C) and motor surface should stay below 150°F (66°C) for best life.
