PSW Pot Collection composite 12 x 6 in planter — Terra Cotta Simplicity Bowl, drillable & weather-resistant

The PSW Pot Collection Simplicity Bowl is a 12 x 6-inch composite planter made from recycled plastic, stone powder, and wood dust, finished in terra cotta, designed for indoor or outdoor styling and drillable for optional drainage.

This Simplicity Bowl from PSW Pot Collection blends recycled materials into a lightweight, weather-resistant planter that looks like natural pottery without the weight. Its rounded silhouette and warm terra cotta tone make it a versatile focal point for tabletops, shelves, decks, or patios. The pot ships without a factory drainage hole so you can leave it watertight for indoor display or add drainage quickly with any standard drill bit for potted plants outdoors.

How will this planter hold up outdoors?

Built from a mix of recycled plastic, stone powder, and wood dust, the Simplicity Bowl is formulated to resist weathering and UV exposure better than traditional clay. Its composite build keeps the pot lightweight for easy repositioning while retaining a substantial, pottery-like look. You can expect less cracking and chipping compared with ceramic in freeze-thaw conditions.

• Weather-resistant composite resists sun and rain damage
• Lightweight for convenient rearranging and hanging
• UV-stable finish holds color longer than conventional terracotta

Can I add drainage to this planter and how?

The Simplicity Bowl arrives without a drainage hole to suit indoor use or decorative arrangements. If you prefer planted specimens that require drainage, simply drill holes using any standard masonry or wood drill bit; the composite material drills cleanly without cracking. Drill below the soil line and use multiple small holes for efficient water flow.

• Drillable composite — works with common drill bits
• Recommended: drill 2–4 small holes below the root zone
• Option to add a saucer or liner for indoor use

What makes this planter different from ordinary pots?

Each PSW pot is crafted from recycled components, giving it a slightly varied texture and finish so no two pieces look identical. That artisan-like variation pairs with practical advantages: the pot is stronger than plain plastic, yet much lighter than stone or ceramic alternatives. It coordinates with other PSW pieces so you can build a cohesive display across multiple sizes and shapes.

• Recycled blend yields unique color and texture on each pot
• Stronger than simple plastic, lighter than stone or clay
• Designed to complement other PSW pots and saucers for layered styling

How should I style and care for the Simplicity Bowl?

Use the planter as a centerpiece with flowering annuals, a sculptural succulent arrangement, or a foliage focal point in a sunroom. Cleaning is straightforward—wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap; avoid harsh abrasives that could dull the finish. For indoor use, consider using a plastic liner or saucer to protect furniture from occasional moisture.

• Ideal for flowering mixes, succulents, or decorative foliage
• Easy to clean with mild soap and a soft cloth
• Pair with matching PSW saucers and pots for a coordinated garden look
