Plantonix Perlite Bliss is a sterile, medium-grade volcanic perlite engineered to improve soil aeration, drainage, and water retention for healthier indoor and outdoor plants.
Perlite Bliss is a lightweight, inorganic soil amendment made from expanded volcanic glass. It mixes easily with potting soil, coco coir, vermiculite, or garden beds to reduce compaction, maintain consistent moisture around roots, and increase oxygen availability. Gardeners use it for container plants, seed starting mixes, raised beds, and hydroponic setups because it is neutral pH, naturally sterile, and requires no special preparation.
Perlite creates tiny air pockets within potting mix that improve oxygen flow to roots while speeding excess water away from the root zone. This reduces waterlogging and helps roots grow stronger and more extensive.
Although perlite improves drainage, its porous structure still holds small amounts of moisture and releases it slowly to roots. That balance lets you water less often compared with dense, compacted soils while keeping root moisture stable.
Mix ratios change with the application: use higher perlite for seeds and cuttings to ensure drainage and airflow, and moderate amounts for general potting mixes to balance moisture and nutrients. It blends cleanly with soil, coco coir, and vermiculite without altering pH.
Yes—Perlite Bliss is sterile and chemically neutral, so it won’t introduce pathogens or change nutrient formulas. Its lightweight nature and clean texture make it easy to handle and compatible with hydroponic media or soil-less mixes.
Who this is for: Plantonix Perlite Bliss is aimed at home gardeners, indoor plant enthusiasts, nursery growers, and hobbyist hydroponic users who want a reliable soil amendment to prevent compaction, improve drainage, and support vigorous root development. Use it when repotting houseplants, starting seeds, building custom potting mixes, or improving heavy garden soils for better plant performance.
Q: How much perlite should I add to potting soil?
A: For containers, mix 10–30% perlite into potting soil. Adjust higher for shallow pots or plants needing extra drainage.
Q: Can I use Perlite Bliss in hydroponics?
A: Yes. Its sterile, neutral particles work well as part of hydroponic substrates or mixed with other media.
