OFFO Bird Spikes Stainless Steel 17ft Kit — Durable Humane Pigeon & Crow Deterrent

OFFO Bird Spikes are a durable, humane stainless-steel barrier designed to prevent small birds, crows and woodpeckers from landing and nesting on ledges, gutters and other surfaces.

Keep exterior surfaces clean and bird-free with this 17-foot kit that combines corrosion-resistant 304 stainless steel needles and a thin stainless base for long-lasting protection. The spikes use visual and tactile deterrence—reflective surfaces and dense multi-directional points—to discourage perching without harming birds. Each modular strip is compact and adaptable to common architectural features, making it a practical solution for residential and commercial exteriors.

How do these spikes stop birds without injuring them?

The OFFO spikes create an uneven, uncomfortable surface that prevents birds from settling while avoiding sharp, harmful points. Their staggered six-needle clusters cover the full horizontal and vertical range so birds can’t find a stable foothold and will move on to safer perches.

• 304 stainless steel needles with blunt tips to deter, not wound
• Reflective surfaces discourage landing by increasing perceived risk
• Dense layout—six needles per section—for 360° coverage

Where can I install the 17-foot OFFO bird spikes kit?

The kit is sized to protect common trouble spots like 4" (100 mm) window sills, narrow ledges, gutters, balcony rails and door frames. Its slim stainless base conforms to many surface shapes and can be cut or overlapped to fit odd lengths or corners.

• Ideal for 4" wide sills, gutters, roof edges and balconies
• Modular sections can be trimmed for custom lengths
• Works on metal, wood, concrete and PVC when fastened properly

How durable and weather-resistant are these spikes?

Constructed from premium 304 stainless steel, OFFO spikes resist rust and retain shape through rain, snow and sun exposure. The robust base and secure needle mounts are engineered to withstand windstorms and seasonal wear for many years without maintenance.

• 304 stainless steel resists corrosion and discoloration
• Designed for long-term outdoor exposure—minimal upkeep
• Secure base holds spikes through harsh weather and wind

How easy is installation and what tools do I need?

Installation is straightforward: align the strips, trim if needed, then fasten with screws, adhesive or zip ties depending on the mounting surface. The low-profile stainless base lets you place spikes discreetly while still providing full coverage.

• Can be screwed, glued or tied down—choose the method for your surface
• Sections can be overlapped for continuous protection along long runs
• Clear edges and slim base minimize visual impact after fitting

Who this is for: Property owners, facility managers and homeowners who want a long-lasting, humane way to prevent bird perching and nesting on narrow architectural features will find this OFFO kit suitable. It’s especially useful where recurring droppings or nesting materials create maintenance problems—offering a low-maintenance barrier that preserves building appearance and reduces cleaning frequency. If you need a corrosion-resistant, modular solution for standard 4" ledges, gutters or balconies, this 17-foot stainless steel set provides broad coverage with professional-looking results.
