Neogen Havoc Rodenticide Rat & Mouse Bait Pellets, 8 lb pail — Brodifacoum .005% Single-Feed Control

Neogen Havoc Rodenticide is an 8 lb pail of brodifacoum-based bait pellets formulated to deliver single-feed control of rats and mice in and around agricultural structures.

Designed for agricultural settings, Neogen Havoc combines a potent second-generation anticoagulant (brodifacoum .005%) with a specially blended, highly attractive bait mix to encourage rodents to consume a lethal dose quickly. Packaged in a convenient pail of ready-to-use pellets, this product is intended for use inside and within 100 feet of man-made agricultural buildings and structures where house mice, Norway rats, and roof rats are a problem. Use this bait as part of an overall integrated pest management and biosecurity strategy.

How quickly will Havoc bait reduce a rodent population?

When rodents ingest a lethal dose, Havoc typically produces control within four to five days as the brodifacoum acts to terminate the target pests after feeding. The single-feed formulation means fewer feedings are required compared with multi-feed products, so populations can decline faster when placement and bait acceptance are correct.

• Expect visible results within 4–5 days after consumption of a lethal dose.
• Single-feed anticoagulant brodifacoum (.005%) for rapid mortality after ingestion.
• Palatable pellet mix increases likelihood of rodents taking a lethal portion quickly.
• Best results when combined with sanitation and exclusion measures.

Where is this product approved for use, and how should it be placed?

Havoc is labeled for controlling house mice, Norway rats, and roof rats in and within 100 feet of man-made agricultural buildings and structures. Place pellets in tamper-resistant bait stations or secure locations inaccessible to non-target animals, children, and livestock; always follow label directions for distance and placement.

• Use indoors and outdoors within 100 ft of agricultural buildings and structures.
• Deploy in bait stations or protected spots to limit access by pets and wildlife.
• Follow all label instructions for legal, safe placement and disposal.
• Rotate monitoring points and replenish bait as consumed or contaminated.

What safety and handling steps should I follow when using Havoc?

Treat Havoc with caution: brodifacoum is a potent anticoagulant toxic to mammals if incorrectly handled. Wear appropriate protective equipment during placement, store the pail in a locked area away from children and non-target animals, and dispose of unused bait or dead rodents according to the product label and local regulations.

• Use gloves when handling bait and wash hands afterward.
• Keep bait in its original container and secure storage between uses.
• Remove and dispose of carcasses safely and per label instructions.
• Consult label for first-aid and environmental precautions.

How does Havoc fit into an integrated rodent management plan?

Havoc is most effective when combined with exclusion, sanitation, and habitat modification to reduce food, water, and shelter for rodents. Use monitoring devices and follow-up inspections to confirm control and to identify reinfestation sources so long-term solutions can be implemented.

• Pair baiting with proofing entry points and removing food sources.
• Regularly inspect bait stations and document activity for trend analysis.
• Use professional pest management services for large or persistent infestations.
• Include Havoc as a targeted tool in a broader biosecurity plan.

Who is this for: Neogen Havoc Rodenticide is intended for agricultural operators, farm managers, and pest control professionals who need a high-potency, single-feed bait to control rats and mice in and around man-made agricultural structures. It is not formulated for general household use outside agricultural settings; follow label restrictions and consider professional application when dealing with widespread infestations or proximity to sensitive non-target animals.
