Mulctun Soil Sifters 11.8in 4-Pack (2/4/6/8mm) Black Galvanized Steel Stackable for 5-Gallon Bucket

Mulctun 11.8" soil sifters are a set of four heavy-duty, one-piece screening pans (2, 4, 6, 8mm) designed to sit on a standard 5-gallon bucket and quickly separate fine dirt, sand, rocks, and compost debris.

These stackable, black-coated galvanized-steel sifters give gardeners precise control over particle size so you can prepare potting mixes, refine compost, screen gravel, or reclaim usable soil. Each sifter is a single welded unit that resists loosening and rust, offering a longer service life than multi-piece drum-style sieves. The 11.8" top diameter fits common buckets for an ergonomic working height and efficient collection below.

How do the different mesh sizes change what I’ll collect?

Each screen in the set is sized to trap progressively smaller particles so you can tailor results for the task. Use the coarser grate for removing large stones and the finer meshes when you need clean potting soil or screened compost.

• 8mm: removes large rocks and coarse debris quickly
• 6mm: ideal for gravel, larger roots, and medium debris
• 4mm: captures small pebbles and larger grit—good for garden soil prep
• 2mm: filters out fine grit and debris for near-finished potting mix

Why choose the black baked-coating and one-piece design?

The black finish is a wear-resistant baked coating over galvanized steel, adding corrosion protection and a cleaner look. The one-piece welded frame and mesh avoid the common problem of loosening seams found on drum-style sifters, so the unit stays rigid under repeated use.

• Black baked coating reduces rust and visible wear
• Welded, integrated mesh prevents separation or wobble
• Stackable geometry saves storage space when not in use
• Durable construction handles repeated scraping and shaking

Can these sifters be used with my existing 5-gallon bucket?

Yes — the sifters are sized to sit securely on most standard 5-gallon buckets, providing a stable platform for sorting soil and debris without needing a separate frame. The shape and diameters ensure a snug fit and efficient collection below.

• 11.8" top diameter matches standard bucket openings
• 8.1" bottom diameter directs screened material into the bucket
• 5.9" height balances capacity with portability
• Sits flat for hands-free shaking or tapping during use

How will this set speed up my garden or compost work?

By separating unwanted rocks and coarse materials quickly, these sifters reduce the time spent hand-picking and reworking soil. The multiple mesh options let you stage the process—coarse first, fine last—so you get clean, usable material with fewer passes.

• Quickly remove stones and debris in stages
• Less manual sorting — more material processed per minute
• Reusable for soil, gravel, sawdust, worm castings, and compost
• Stackable set gives flexibility for different projects

Who is this for: gardeners, landscapers, composters, potting-mix makers, and hobbyists who want precise particle control without fragile, multi-part frames. If you use 5-gallon buckets and need reliable, rust-resistant screening for soil, sand, or compost, the Mulctun four-piece 11.8" sifter set provides a rugged, space-saving solution that scales from small container gardens to larger yard projects.
