MUGVELL Coco Coir Mulch Rings 24 Inch — 6-Pack Biodegradable Tree & Planter Liners, Moisture-Retaining Weed Control

MUGVELL Coco Coir Mulch rings are 24-inch biodegradable coconut-fiber mats designed to suppress weeds, retain moisture, and protect young plants and containers from animals and erosion.

These circular coconut liners combine dense coir weaving with breathable structure to create a natural garden barrier that gradually enriches soil as it breaks down. Made from 100% organic coconut fiber, each 24" disc fits around trunks, pot rims, or planting holes to reduce watering needs, limit weed competition, and give beds a tidy, finished look. Lightweight and easy to trim, the rings work in lawns, flower beds, planters, and around trees for versatile landscaping use.

How do these coir mulch rings reduce watering and regulate soil temperature?

The dense coconut fiber holds moisture near the root zone while allowing air and excess water to pass through. That moisture buffering reduces evaporation on hot days and helps keep roots cooler under summer sun.

• Breathable coir structure balances moisture and airflow
• Reduces surface evaporation for fewer summer waterings
• Helps stabilize soil temperature around roots

Will MUGVELL coir rings stop weeds and prevent animals from digging?

The woven fibers create a physical barrier that limits light and space for weeds to establish, while still allowing nutrients and water to reach soil. The rings also discourage pets and small animals from digging directly at the plant base.

• Dense weave inhibits weed sprouting without chemicals
• Permeable to water and nutrients so plants thrive
• Acts as a discouraging surface for digging animals

How easy are these coconut fiber discs to install and fit to different plants?

Installation is simple: place the disc around the trunk or pot and trim with scissors for a custom fit. Their flexible coir allows shaping around irregular stems, container rims, and grouped plantings for a neat professional appearance.

• 24-inch diameter fits many trees and larger pots
• Trim-to-fit design adapts to uneven beds and containers
• Lightweight discs sit flat and stay in place with minimal securing

How long do these mulches last and what happens as they break down?

MUGVELL coco coir rings are biodegradable and gradually decompose, feeding organic matter back into the soil. Lifespan depends on climate and placement, but decomposition improves soil structure and retains nutrients for future plant health.

• Made from 100% organic coconut fiber — no plastics
• Breaks down naturally, contributing organic matter to soil
• Decomposition rate varies by weather and moisture conditions

Who is this for: These mulch rings are ideal for home gardeners, balcony plant lovers, landscapers, and anyone wanting a natural, low-maintenance alternative to synthetic landscape fabric. They suit new sod or seed areas, container growers who want cleaner pot rims, and tree-planting projects where moisture retention and tidy presentation matter.
