The MOTOALL Carburetor Leak Detector is a handheld gauge built to find leaks in Walbro and compatible 2‑cycle carburetors quickly and accurately.
This compact tester is designed for small-engine technicians, landscapers, and DIY mechanics who service handheld equipment. It directly fits Walbro 57-21 style assemblies and Stens 705-020, measures vacuum/pressure from 0 to 100 kPa (0–15 psi), and serves as a drop‑in replacement for ZAMA ZPG-2 and Tillotson 243-504 models. The tool helps you pinpoint diaphragms, gaskets, and needle‑seat problems without removing the carburetor from the engine in many cases.
The tester applies controlled vacuum or pressure to the carburetor’s diaphragm chambers and shows the resulting pressure on a clear analog dial. A steady drop indicates a leak path; stable readings mean seals and diaphragms are holding. Readings across the 0–100 kPa range let you detect minor leaks that affect performance.
The tester is intended for two‑cycle carburetors that follow the Walbro 57‑21 port arrangement and similar designs. It directly fits Walbro 57‑21 units, Stens 705‑020, and compatible Zama/Tillotson patterns. Always confirm port layout before use; adapters or slight modifications may be necessary for nonstandard bodies.
Attach the tester to the carburetor port while the carburetor is removed or safely separated from fuel and ignition sources. Apply vacuum or light pressure gradually and watch the dial for any change; compare against expected hold times. Work in a well‑ventilated area and keep fuel away from the tool during diagnostics.
The unit is made for workshop use and routine diagnostic checks. Rinse or wipe clean after exposure to grime; store in a dry place out of direct sunlight. The analog gauge mechanism is robust, but avoid dropping or striking the face to maintain accuracy.
Who is this for: The MOTOALL Carburetor Leak Detector is for small‑engine mechanics, landscape maintenance professionals, and hobbyists who repair chainsaws, trimmers, blowers, and other two‑cycle equipment. If you need a straightforward, compatible replacement for ZAMA ZPG‑2 or Tillotson 243‑504 testers that covers Walbro 57‑21 pattern carburetors and provides 0–100 kPa diagnostic range, this tool delivers a practical, workshop-ready solution.
Q: Is this compatible with Walbro 57-21 carburetors?
A: Yes. It fits Walbro 57‑21 pattern carburetors and Stens 705‑020 directly for leak testing.
Q: What pressure range does the tester measure?
A: The gauge measures from 0 to 100 kPa (0–15 psi) for vacuum and light pressure checks.
