Mosenpol Pool Backwash Hose 1.5" x 100 ft Layflat PVC – Reinforced, Flexible with Stainless Clamps

MOSENPOL Pool Backwash Hose is a 1-1/2" inner diameter, 100-foot layflat PVC discharge hose designed for fast, leak-resistant pool backwash and extended drainage tasks.

If you need a long, durable hose to move large volumes of water away from a pool, spa, or jobsite, this MOSENPOL backwash hose combines reinforced PVC construction with a compact layflat profile. It connects to standard 1-1/2" adapters and works with smaller PVC pipe, folds flat for storage, and includes stainless steel clamps for a secure seal. The design emphasizes abrasion resistance, flexibility, and simple setup so you can drain or divert water without wrestling with rigid tubing.

How does this hose attach to my pool pump and plumbing?

Attachment is straightforward: slide the hose over a 1-1/2" hose adapter or a 1-1/4" (or smaller) PVC pipe, then tighten the supplied stainless steel clamps to lock the connection. The hose inner diameter is 1.5 inches, so confirm your adapter outer diameter is smaller than the hose inside diameter for a snug fit.

• Fits standard 1-1/2" hose adapters and many 1-1/4" or smaller PVC pipes
• Includes two stainless steel clamps for leak-resistant attachment
• Recommendation: Connection outside diameter must be less than hose inside diameter

What makes the MOSENPOL hose durable and easy to store?

The hose is built from reinforced, flexible PVC that resists abrasion, tearing, and leaks while remaining pliable for handling. Its layflat profile lets it collapse and roll up compactly, saving space compared with traditional round hoses and easing transport between jobs or seasonal storage.

• Reinforced PVC resists wear and damage during routine use
• Flexible material prevents kinks while maintaining flow
• Layflat design collapses for compact rolling and storage

How long and how much can it handle for different tasks?

This backwash hose is 100 feet long with a 1.5" inside diameter, giving it extended reach for pool backwashing, offsite drainage, and temporary irrigation runs. While engineered for high-volume water discharge, its performance depends on pump strength, fittings, and elevation change — use appropriate clamps and supports for long runs.

• 100 feet length for extended reach from pool to discharge area
• 1.5" inner diameter balances flow rate and compatibility
• Suitable for pool backwash, farm irrigation, wastewater diversion, and construction dewatering

Is the MOSENPOL backwash hose simple to maintain and protect from weather?

Maintenance is minimal: rinse debris, drain and roll the hose after use, and store it in a dry, shaded place to prolong life. Although durable, prolonged direct sunlight and freezing conditions can degrade PVC over time, so avoid long-term exposure when possible.

• Rinse and drain before rolling to prevent mold and buildup
• Store collapsed in a dry, cool, shaded area out of direct sunlight
• Inspect clamps and joint areas for wear before each use

Who this is for: The MOSENPOL 1-1/2" x 100 FT Pool Backwash Hose is aimed at pool owners, maintenance professionals, landscapers, and contractors who need a robust, long-reach discharge hose that stows compactly. If you want a balance of strength, flexibility, and simple connections for routine pool backwash, irrigation runs, or temporary site dewatering, this reinforced layflat hose covers those needs without bulky storage demands.
