Mikatesi 7/8-inch Shaft Vertical Pressure Washer Pump — Front Inlet/Outlet, 2600–3000 PSI 2.5 GPM

The Mikatesi 7/8" shaft vertical pressure washer pump is a front-inlet, front-outlet replacement pump rated up to 3000 PSI and 2.5 GPM, built to restore pressure-washing power for compatible Troy-Bilt, Craftsman and other engines.

This heavy-duty replacement pump is designed to bring an older or worn pressure washer back to life without buying a new machine. Engineered with a die-cast aluminum body, upgraded piston surfacing and a double-seal system, it targets longer run times and fewer leaks. The unit ships with five quick-change nozzle tips and includes thermal protection plus an adjustable unloader so you can dial pressure to match your engine’s capabilities.

How does this pump fit my existing pressure washer?

The Mikatesi pump fits machines with a front inlet and front outlet and a 7/8" shaft, commonly found on 180–196cc (6.5–7 hp) engines. Check your model number and inlet/outlet orientation: it is a direct replacement for many Troy-Bilt, Husky and AR models listed by part numbers in the compatibility list. If your pressure washer uses a vertical pump with a 7/8" shaft and front ports, this unit is likely compatible.

• 7/8" drive shaft for common engine connections
• Front inlet and outlet ports — matches front-outlet designs
• Compatible with many 6.5–7 hp engine pressure washers
• Cross-reference with OEM part numbers included in product details

What performance can I expect and how do I adjust pressure?

This pump is rated up to 3000 PSI and 2.5 GPM at 3400 RPM, with a recommended rating of 2600 PSI / 2.2 GPM for steady use. An adjustable unloader valve lets you tune outlet pressure for the engine and cleaning task, and the thermal relief valve protects the pump while in bypass or idle states. The brass outlet and quality seals help maintain flow and resist corrosion over time.

• Max 3000 PSI / 2.5 GPM; rated 2600 PSI / 2.2 GPM
• Adjustable unloader valve for pressure control
• Thermal relief valve with protective cap to prevent overheating
• Durable brass outlet reduces corrosion and leakage risk

What durability and maintenance features does this pump have?

Built with an improved double-seal system, upgraded piston surfacing and robust bearings, the design aims for extended runtime and fewer service interventions. The pump arrives pre-filled with oil for life, eliminating routine oil changes, and features a quick-start design for easier cold startups. Regularly inspect seals and hoses, but the manufacturer rates significantly longer running hours versus many OEM pumps.

• Double-seal system to reduce leaks and extend life
• Pre-filled, lifetime oil — no oil changes required
• Die-cast aluminum body for corrosion resistance
• Quick cold starts and minimal initial setup

Which cleaning jobs are suitable for this pump?

The pump is well suited for typical homeowner and light professional cleaning: driveways, patios, siding, vehicles and fences. The included five-color nozzle set (0°, 15°, 25°, 40°, 65°) gives you spray options from concentrated stripping to wide rinsing, so you can match pressure and flow to the surface. Use lower PSI settings and wider nozzles on delicate materials and the higher PSI/nozzle combos for heavy-duty grime removal.

• Five nozzle tips for tasks from heavy cleaning to gentle rinsing
• Works on concrete, wood, siding, vehicles and outdoor furniture
• Adjustable pressure prevents engine overload and surface damage
• Suitable for restoring older pressure washer units to full use

Who is this for: the Mikatesi 7/8" shaft vertical pump is aimed at homeowners and light contractors who want to repair or upgrade a front-inlet/outlet pressure washer rather than replace the entire machine. It's a practical, cost-effective option for anyone with compatible Troy-Bilt, Husky, AR or similar models who needs higher durability, thermal protection and simple pressure adjustment. Always confirm shaft size and port orientation against your machine’s specifications before purchasing.
