Pink Hawaiian Coral Peony is a semi-double, coral-pink peony sold as a large bare-root clump with 3–5 eyes for early, showy spring blooms in a wide range of climates.
This variety from Marde Ross & Company combines an early-blooming habit with striking coral tones and semi-double form, making it a standout in borders, cutting gardens, and containers. Shipped as a large bare root with 3–5 eyes, this peony is intended for reliable establishment and generous flowering. It tolerates cold winters well and performs best with some afternoon shade in warm regions.
Expect large, layered semi-double flowers in warm coral-pink shades that add a bright, textured focal point to spring beds. The plant forms bushy foliage and sturdy stems that support abundant blooms suitable for cutting and display.
You’ll receive the peony as a bareroot clump with 3–5 visible eyes — plant according to local climate to encourage reliable sprouting. In warm climates place the eyes just below the soil surface; in colder regions where the ground freezes, plant about 2 inches deep for winter protection.
Pink Hawaiian Coral is an early bloomer among peonies, often opening before many other varieties in warm climates; afternoon shade helps prolong flower life in hotter sites. General care is straightforward: provide full sun to part shade, regular watering during establishment, and minimal feeding to promote healthy roots and repeat flowering.
Marde Ross & Company ships this variety as a large bare root with 3–5 eyes, a size that supports vigorous establishment and abundant spring blooms. As a licensed California nursery since 1985, Marde Ross & Company specializes in bulbs and peonies and ships roots when dormant to maximize transplant success.
Who is this for? Gardeners looking for an early, colorful peony that establishes quickly from a substantial bare-root clump will appreciate Pink Hawaiian Coral. It suits border plantings, cut-flower growers, and anyone wanting cold-hardy peonies that also perform in warmer gardens with some afternoon shade.
