LONNKY 30ft 12AWG Solar Extension Cable DC7909 to DC8020 — 8mm Heavy-Duty, Outdoor-Rated Orange

The LONNKY 30FT 12AWG extension cable is a heavy-duty DC7909 (8mm) to DC8020 solar connector designed to extend solar panel runs up to 30 feet for portable power stations.

If you need more distance between your panels and power station without sacrificing durability, this LONNKY extension cord offers a long, flexible, high-current path built from 12AWG pure copper and a double PVC jacket. It is made for outdoor use — camping, RVing, backyard systems, or emergency setups — and connects to many popular portable generators including Jackery, BLUETTI, Goal Zero Yeti, Anker, and EF ECOFLOW models. Note the cable uses DC7909 (8mm) input and includes a DC8020 adapter to match a range of power station input jacks.

How will this extension cable affect my solar charging performance?

Extending the distance between panels and your power station can introduce slight voltage drop; this cable minimizes that by using 12AWG pure copper conductors to support up to ~300W solar input with greater stability. Expect modest additional charging time in long runs, but the thicker gauge helps preserve usable current.

• 12AWG pure copper reduces resistance compared to thinner cables.
• Double PVC jacket resists abrasion and UV for outdoor reliability.
• Rated for up to 80°C operating conditions for heat resilience.
• Designed to support solar panels up to approximately 300W with minimal loss.

Which power stations and panels will this cable work with?

The LONNKY extension is broadly compatible with many portable generators that accept an 8mm DC input, including Jackery Explorer series (except Jackery Explorer 300), BLUETTI EB series, Goal Zero Yeti models, Anker PowerHouse units, and other common brands. Confirm your solar panel or panel cable uses a DC7909 (8mm) output before buying.

• Compatible: Jackery Explorer 1000/1500/2000/3000 series (not Explorer 300), BLUETTI EB3A/EB70(S), Goal Zero Yeti models.
• Works with Anker, Anker PowerHouse II models and many third-party stations like Renogy and Westinghouse.
• If your panel uses a different connector, purchase a matching adapter to pair with this extension.
• Functions as an extension to your panel's existing cable — attach to the original output cable.

How easy is it to set up and use in the field?

Setup is straightforward: connect the DC7909 female end to the panel’s original DC7909 output or adapter, then plug the DC8020 male end into the power station input. The bright orange jacket improves visibility around campsites and in low light; the cord’s flexibility makes coiling and storage simple.

• Plug-and-play DC7909 to DC8020 connection format for fast connections.
• 30 feet of length provides room to position panels in sun without moving the generator.
• Bright orange cable makes routing and locating simple on a busy campsite.
• Flexible construction for easy carrying and storage in gear bags.

Who is this for? Outdoor enthusiasts, RV owners, tiny-home or off-grid users, and anyone who needs a dependable way to extend their solar panels away from a portable power station will benefit from the LONNKY 30FT extension. It’s ideal when you must place panels in unobstructed sunlight while keeping the generator or battery safely sheltered, and it suits users who prioritize durable materials and a higher-gauge conductor to reduce power loss over distance. Before purchase, verify your panel and station connectors match the DC7909 interface or plan to use the proper adapter.
