Legigo 26 Quarts Organic Perlite is a lightweight, pH-neutral coarse medium that improves drainage and aeration when mixed into potting soil for indoor plants, succulents, cacti, and hydroponic systems.
Legigo perlite is crushed volcanic glass processed into porous white granules designed to reduce soil compaction, increase air space around roots, and speed excess-water drainage. Packaged in a heavy-duty resealable pouch, this 26-quart supply gives hobbyists and serious growers a convenient way to tailor mixes for containers, carnivorous plants, and soil-less setups without altering soil pH.
Adding coarse perlite lightens heavy soils and creates channels for air and water to move freely, which lowers the risk of overwatering and root suffocation. Its porous structure holds some moisture and nutrients while still allowing excess to drain away.
Coarse perlite is especially useful for succulents, cacti, carnivorous species, tropicals in containers, and hydroponic or soilless systems where controlled moisture and oxygen are critical. It also works well in seed starting mixes and when repotting mature plants that need faster drying soil.
Start by blending perlite with your chosen potting soil at ratios based on plant type: higher perlite for succulents, lower for moisture-loving houseplants. For seed starting or propagation, a 50:50 mix with peat or coir yields a light, well-draining medium.
Legigo perlite comes in a durable resealable pouch that keeps the granules dry and contained between uses. The carrier packaging reduces mess and makes portioning easier, while protecting the product from light and humidity during storage.
Who this is for: Legigo 26 Quarts Organic Perlite suits indoor gardeners, succulent and cactus collectors, carnivorous plant enthusiasts, and anyone running hydroponic or soilless systems who needs a reliable, pH-neutral amendment to improve drainage and root aeration. It is also handy for DIY floral arrangements, miniature landscapes, and craft projects that call for a light, inert aggregate.
Q: Is Legigo perlite safe for indoor plants?
A: Yes. It is an inert, pH-neutral volcanic medium that won’t alter soil acidity and improves aeration and drainage for indoor plants.
Q: What perlite-to-soil ratio should I use for succulents?
A: Use about 30–50% perlite mixed with potting soil for succulents to ensure quick drainage and prevent root rot.
