KOBAZ Pool Backwash Hose 1.5 in × 100 ft – Lay-Flat PVC Vinyl Lined, Reinforced Polyester Exterior

KOBAZ Pool Backwash Hose 1.5 in × 100 ft is a durable, lay-flat drain hose designed for high-flow pool backwashing, sump pump discharge, and general wastewater drainage.

This 100-foot, 1.5-inch inner diameter hose combines a smooth PVC vinyl inner lining with reinforced polyester yarn on the exterior to balance high flow capability, pressure resistance, and easier handling. It ships with two hose clamps sized to attach to 1-inch or smaller filter outlets, so you can connect to sand filters, sump pumps, or drain fittings quickly. Built to stay flexible across a broad temperature range, the hose is intended for repeated outdoor use during routine pool maintenance and other drainage jobs.

How does this hose simplify pool backwashing?

The KOBAZ hose moves large volumes of water and debris away from your filter system so you can complete backwashing faster and with fewer kinks or leaks. Its smooth inner wall reduces friction and sediment buildup while the reinforced outer layer resists collapse under suction or flow.

• 1.5-inch inner diameter supports high flow rates for quick backwash cycles
• PVC vinyl-lined interior minimizes wear and clogging
• Reinforced polyester exterior resists pressure and abrasion
• Includes two clamps for a secure connection to filter outlets

Will this hose work with my sump pump or filter outlet?

Yes. The hose is compatible with most sump pumps and filter outlets when used with the included clamps or common quick-connect fittings. The 1.5-inch internal size accepts large flow but can be clamped to smaller 1-inch ports for a snug fit.

• Fits sand filter and cartridge filter backwash ports with clamps
• Works with submersible and utility sump pumps for discharge tasks
• Can be trimmed or joined with standard hose connectors for custom lengths

How durable and weather-resistant is the hose?

Designed for outdoor use, the hose maintains flexibility from around 5°F to 158°F and resists cracking or splitting under normal pool maintenance conditions. The layered construction balances a smooth flow surface with a tough outer weave for repeated deployments and storage.

• Temperature-tolerant materials keep hose pliable in cold and hot weather
• Polyester reinforcement provides tensile strength and abrasion resistance
• Lay-flat design reduces tangles and makes rolling for storage easier

Can I use this hose for other drainage or irrigation jobs?

Absolutely. While optimized for pool backwash, the hose performs well as a general-purpose drain hose for wastewater, irrigation discharge, and light industrial dewatering. Its smooth interior and reinforced exterior make it a versatile choice for multiple high-flow applications.

• Suitable for wastewater drainage and temporary irrigation lines
• Compatible with drain pumps, cleaning equipment, and quick-connect fittings
• Lightweight white finish is easy to spot and roll up after use

Who is this for? Pool owners, service technicians, and property maintenance teams who need a reliable, easy-to-handle hose for regular backwashing, sump pump discharge, or temporary drainage will find the KOBAZ 1.5 in × 100 ft hose practical and economical. It’s especially helpful where high-flow evacuation and weather resistance are priorities, or where storage convenience and simple clamp connections matter.
