The K-Rain 4404 4000 Series indexing valve is a durable, four-outlet mechanical controller that sequences irrigation across four separate zones for residential and small commercial systems.
Built to simplify multi-zone watering, the 4404 automates irrigation without complex electronics — the robust ABS polymer body resists corrosion and impact, while an easy-to-service design keeps maintenance straightforward. It’s ideal where a compact, reliable sequencing valve is needed to drive several zones using a single water supply and low flow demand.
The 4404 uses a mechanical indexing mechanism to route flow sequentially through four outlets, advancing from one zone to the next as water demand or timing triggers. This eliminates the need for electrical solenoids and complex wiring when simple sequencing is sufficient.
Designed for straightforward installation, the valve mounts inline with existing irrigation piping and connects to up to four branch lines. It performs reliably at typical residential pressures and low combined flow rates, making it compatible with most small-scale irrigation setups.
The body is molded from high-impact ABS polymer to resist corrosion and physical damage that shortens valve life. The unit’s simple, serviceable architecture means routine checks and part replacements are quick, minimizing downtime and service costs.
K-Rain backs the 4000 Series indexing valves with a manufacturer-limited warranty and offers configuration choices to match project size. The 4404 covers four zones; a six-outlet variant is available for larger systems, and units include warranty coverage for buyer protection.
Who is this for: The K-Rain 4404 is a fit for homeowners, landscapers, and small commercial property managers who need a low-maintenance, non-electrical method to sequence multiple irrigation zones. Choose this model if you want a compact, impact- and corrosion-resistant valve that performs reliably at typical residential pressures and modest flow rates.
Q: How many zones does the K-Rain 4404 control?
A: The 4404 sequences four separate irrigation zones using its four indexed outlets.
Q: What pressure range does the valve need to work properly?
A: It operates effectively between 25 and 75 psi for most residential and small commercial systems.
