The Jandy Neverlube 1.5"–2" Positive Seal 2-Port Valve (model 4724) is a maintenance-free CPVC isolation valve engineered for reliable high-flow control without lubrication.
This compact two-port valve uses Jandy's proprietary Neverlube design to eliminate routine greasing while delivering stable flow for pools, spas, and water features. Built from impact-resistant CPVC and engineered for automation, it accepts actuators easily and manages heavy water throughput with minimal pressure loss. The valve is intended as a long-lived plumbing component that reduces service needs and integrates with standard pool controls.
The Neverlube mechanism uses a molded sealing geometry and durable materials instead of grease-dependent seals, so ongoing lubrication is unnecessary. That reduces routine maintenance and lowers the chance of lubricant attracting debris or degrading in sunlight.
Yes. Each valve size in this line supports flows up to 170 GPM with minimal head loss, which makes it suitable for high-turnover equipment and larger jets. Properly sized piping and pump selection are still important to maintain intended performance.
The valve is designed for straightforward automation: its shaft and mounting pattern accept common electric actuators and pool control mechanisms. Installing an actuator converts the manual port into a remotely controlled diverter or shutoff valve for convenient system operation.
The valve is molded from CPVC chosen for chemical resistance, dimensional stability, and impact strength. Combined with the Neverlube sealing geometry, this construction delivers long service life in outdoor aquatic environments.
Who is this for: The Jandy Neverlube 2-port positive seal valve is aimed at pool builders, service technicians, and advanced DIY installers who need a dependable, low-maintenance isolation or diverter valve. It suits projects that demand higher flow capacity—like spas, larger returns, or decorative features—where minimizing maintenance and integrating automation are priorities. Choose this model when you want a robust CPVC valve compatible with common actuators, designed to cut routine upkeep without sacrificing hydraulic performance.
Q: Do I need to lubricate the Jandy Neverlube valve?
A: No. The Neverlube design eliminates routine lubrication for long-term, low-maintenance operation.
Q: What flow rate can this 1.5"–2" valve handle?
A: Each valve can handle flows up to 170 GPM with minimal head loss when properly plumbed.
