iGreely 10AWG SAE Solar Extension Cable 10ft — Male & Female Adapter Pair with Polarity-Reverse and Weather Caps

iGreely's 10ft 10AWG SAE solar extension cable is a heavy-duty PV adapter set that connects solar panels to controllers or chargers with reliable low-loss power transfer.

Built for RVs, boats, and off-grid setups, this 3.1 m cable pair uses thick 10 AWG tinned copper conductors and secure SAE-style connectors to reduce voltage drop and improve durability compared with thinner wiring. The set includes both male and female ends, a polarity-reverse SAE adapter for cross-brand compatibility, and weather caps to keep unused connectors dry.

How does this cable help keep solar setups efficient?

The thicker 10 AWG core carries higher current with lower resistance than 12 or 14 AWG alternatives, which decreases power loss across longer runs. Tinned copper conductors resist corrosion for outdoor use and maintain stable transmission over time.

• 10 AWG wire rated for up to 50 A continuous current
• Tinned copper for improved conductivity and corrosion resistance
• 3.1 m (10 ft) length suitable for short to mid-range panel-to-controller runs
• Double PVC jacket for thermal protection and weather resilience

Are the connectors easy and safe to use on the road?

SAE-style connectors feature a positive self-locking mechanism that secures mated ends and prevents accidental disconnection during travel. Dustproof and waterproof caps protect connector interiors when not in use, helping maintain clean contacts and reliable operation.

• Self-locking SAE connectors for secure attachments
• Protective caps to block moisture and debris
• Reinforced twin-wire sleeve to reduce strain at the terminations
• Heat-resistant materials rated up to 105 °C

Can I connect panels and devices from different brands?

The included SAE polarity-reverse adapter lets you change cable polarity to match varying manufacturer wiring standards before final connection. Always confirm polarity with a meter to avoid reversed connections and ensure safe charging.

• SAE-to-SAE polarity adapter for cross-brand compatibility
• Use meter to verify positive/negative before hooking up equipment
• Adapter allows easy integration of mixed-brand panels and controllers
• Prevents accidental polarity mismatch when connecting systems

What durability features should I expect outdoors?

Designed for marine, automotive, and RV environments, the cable assembly uses thick insulation and durable connector housings that stand up to vibration and weather exposure. Tinned copper and a robust outer jacket combine to minimize heat buildup and prolong service life.

• Double PVC jacket for abrasion and UV protection
• Connector housings engineered for outdoor sealing
• Corrosion-resistant tinned copper conductors
• Rated for temperatures up to roughly 105 °C
