HIBUMFX Aluminum Electric Fence Wire 17 Gauge 4×250 ft — Corrosion-Resistant, Smooth Unspool

HIBUMFX 17-gauge aluminum electric fence wire is a set of four 250-foot spools engineered for long-lasting, high-conductivity perimeter and temporary fencing without rusting.

If you need a reliable conductor for electric fences that balances strength, flexibility and weather resistance, these HIBUMFX spools provide a practical solution. Each spool contains 250 feet of 17-gauge aluminum wire with a 38,000 PSI tensile strength and a 90 lb breaking load, designed to run cleanly off the reel and install with minimal fuss. Aluminum’s natural resistance to corrosion makes these spools suited for outdoor installations in wet or salty environments where steel would degrade faster.

How durable is HIBUMFX 17-gauge aluminum wire for outdoor fencing?

The aluminum composition resists rust and maintains integrity in harsh weather, reducing long-term maintenance. With a tensile strength rated at 38,000 PSI and a 90 lb breaking load, it withstands normal tensioning and common field stresses without permanent deformation.

• 38,000 PSI tensile strength for reliable tension retention
• 90 lb breaking load to prevent frequent replacements
• Aluminum alloy resists corrosion better than bare steel
• Designed to unspool smoothly to avoid kinks during installation

Will this wire deliver consistent electrical performance?

Aluminum conducts electricity well enough for most livestock, garden and perimeter electric fence setups, often outperforming plain steel wire in conductivity per weight. That improves fence performance while keeping lines lighter and easier to handle during installation.

• Better conductivity than many steel variants for efficient current flow
• Good for multi-line and single-line energizer systems
• Lightweight construction reduces sag and simplifies tensioning
• Works with standard electric fence fittings and insulators

How easy is installation and routine handling?

The wire is made to pull off the spool without kinking or breaking under normal handling, letting you cut and route runs quickly. Its flexibility helps when wrapping posts, feeding through insulators, or using hand-held tensioning tools, speeding up installation for both professionals and DIYers.

• Spools of 250 ft are manageable for one or two people
• Wire resists kinking, so it unspools cleanly during pulls
• Cut-to-length convenience for fences, temporary lines, or repairs
• Compatible with common reels, clamps and connectors

What applications suit these 250-foot spools best?

These spools are optimized for perimeter fences, paddocks, garden protection, or temporary electric lines where corrosion resistance and weight matter. They’re also useful for multi-wire setups or as a supply for repair and maintenance work across multiple small enclosures.

• Permanent perimeter fencing in coastal or humid areas
• Rotational paddocks and temporary electric fencing
• Garden exclusion lines to keep wildlife out
• Stocking a toolkit for on‑farm fence repairs

Who is this for? Installers, small-ranch owners, landscapers, and DIY homeowners who want a low-maintenance, easy-to-handle conductor for electric fencing will find these HIBUMFX spools practical. If you value corrosion resistance, lighter-weight wire for simpler handling, and dependable conductivity for common energizer systems, these four 250-foot spools offer a cost-effective, ready-to-deploy option. They are not intended to replace specialty high-tensile steel where extreme mechanical strength is required, but they excel where weather resistance and ease of use are priorities.
