Rosa Red Drift is a compact, double-flowered red drift rose sold in a #2 container, offering season-long reblooming color in small gardens and containers.
Raised at Green Promise Farms by experienced growers, this Drift Rose ships carefully inspected and packaged so it arrives healthy and ready to plant. The plant is fully rooted in soil and includes planting and care instructions with your order. Ideal for gardeners in USDA zones 4–8, Rosa Red Drift delivers continuous color from late spring through fall and tolerates container culture as well as landscape beds.
Rosa Red Drift is a repeat bloomer, producing multiple flushes of double red flowers from May into fall when established. If planted in warm, sunny locations and given regular watering and light feeding, you can expect the first flush the same season, with fuller performance the following year.
This variety prefers full sun and well-draining soil. Plant directly from the #2 container into the garden or a larger pot; it arrives fully rooted and ready to go. Routine watering, seasonal pruning to remove spent blooms, and a balanced fertilizer in spring will keep the plant vigorous.
Yes—Rosa Red Drift is well-suited to containers and compact beds, making it a great choice for patios, small borders, or mixed containers. Its tidy habit and moderate spread let you group several as a low hedge or pair with perennials for continuous color.
Like many roses in its hardiness range, this plant will go dormant and lose foliage in late fall through winter. This is a natural cycle; the root system remains alive and the plant will produce new leaves and buds in spring when temperatures rise.
Who is this for: Gardeners seeking a low-maintenance, compact rose that brings repeated red blooms to containers, small landscapes, and mixed borders will appreciate Rosa Red Drift from Green Promise Farms. It’s especially suited to those who want continuous seasonal color without large shrubs, and to urban gardeners with limited space who still want classic rose flowers.
Q: Is Rosa Red Drift suitable for small pots?
A: Yes. This compact rose performs well in medium to large containers and is ideal for patios or balconies.
Q: Which USDA zones are best for planting?
A: Plant in USDA zones 4–8 for best hardiness and consistent rebloom performance.
