These five hand-blown pink glass mushroom propagation stations are petite terrarium vases designed to display single-stem cuttings, baby plant starts, or decorative accents on windowsills and tabletops.
Designed by Glasseam, this set of five mushroom-shaped glass jars combines decorative appeal with a practical propagation function. Each piece features a smooth, high-borosilicate body, a stable widened base and an enlarged single opening to hold small stems more securely. The set’s rosy tint and varied mushroom silhouettes create a playful, cohesive vignette whether used as individual bud vases, reed diffuser bottles, or tiny planters for rooting cuttings.
They provide a small, water-filled environment ideal for rooting single cuttings or keeping herb snips fresh while you wait to pot them. The single larger opening fits thicker stems and lets you arrange multiple jars as a propagation station for several cuttings at once.
Glasseam reworked classic mushroom-shaped decor into a more functional propagation tool: one enlarged mouth for easier placement of stems, thicker glass for durability, and a broader base to reduce tipping. The artisan finish and tinted glass also add decorative value beyond simple utility.
They’re compact and versatile enough for many surfaces: cluster several on a sunny sill, use one as a single-table centerpiece, or line them along a bookshelf for a playful accent. Their small footprint makes them especially suitable for apartments, desks, and bathrooms where space is limited.
Using them is straightforward: rinse before first use, fill with fresh water, and place trimmed cuttings into the opening. Change water weekly, wipe the glass clean for clear visibility, and transfer rooted cuttings to soil when roots reach a few inches.
Who is this for? These pink mushroom propagation jars suit plant lovers who enjoy propagating cuttings, decorators seeking a whimsical accent, and gift shoppers looking for a charming, multiuse present. They’re especially useful for urban gardeners, beginners experimenting with plant propagation, and anyone wanting a stable, attractive way to showcase single stems or small blooms.
Q: Are these jars safe for plant cuttings?
A: Yes. Made from thick borosilicate glass, they’re suitable for water propagation and allow easy root observation.
Q: Can I use them as reed diffusers?
A: Yes. Their single opening works well for reed diffusers or small fragrance displays.
