You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

This heavy-duty transfer switch is engineered to protect whole-home circuits without manual intervention. Designed for single-phase Generac standby generators with Evolution or Power Zone 200 controllers, the switch continuously monitors utility voltage and completes a hard mechanical break before connecting generator power. That open-transition sequencing prevents dangerous backfeed to the grid while restoring power to all 120V and 240V loads simultaneously.
The 9952 is rated for 200A at 120/240V and is built to manage the combined load of modern homes, including high-draw appliances. It transfers the entire service automatically upon utility failure so you don’t need to select circuits manually.
The switch uses an open-transition mechanism that physically disconnects utility power before the generator is connected. This positive mechanical separation eliminates the possibility of energizing utility lines from the generator and protects utility crews during outages.
The 9952 is multi-listed for compatibility with common breaker types from major manufacturers, so most homes won’t require branch-circuit breaker replacement. It also integrates brownout monitoring and a hardened control module to manage transfer timing under unstable voltage conditions.
This transfer switch is built for indoor or outdoor mounting in a corrosion-resistant NEMA 3R aluminum enclosure with a fast-mount hanging system to streamline installer labor. Service entrance installations must be performed by a licensed electrician per NEC Article 702, and the unit ships without a power inlet box or connecting cord.
Who is this for? The Generac 9952 200A Next Gen Automatic Transfer Switch is intended for homeowners with a 200A main service who want seamless, whole-home automatic standby power with built-in safety and breaker compatibility. It’s ideal for residences that require simultaneous 120V and 240V coverage—such as homes with central HVAC, electric dryers, well pumps, and large kitchen appliances—and for anyone pairing a single-phase Generac standby generator with Evolution or Power Zone 200 controllers. Professional installation by a licensed electrician is required to meet NEC Article 702 and preserve the warranty.
Q: Is the Generac 9952 compatible with my 200A service?
A: Yes. The 9952 is service-entrance rated for 200A single-phase 120/240V systems and designed to cover a full 200A residential load.
Q: Do I need a special breaker to install this switch?
A: Most homes don’t. The switch is multi-listed for use with standard, GFCI, and AFCI breakers from Siemens, Eaton, and Square D.
