Funrous Solar Panel Guard Clips 300-Pack — 304 Stainless J-Hooks & Self-Locking Washers, Black Coated Weather-Resistant Fasteners

Funrous Solar Panel Guard Clips are a 300-piece set of stainless-steel J-hooks and self-locking washers designed to fasten mesh or deterrent screens to solar panels and keep birds and small animals away.

Protecting the underside and edges of rooftop or ground-mounted solar modules is easier with compact, corrosion-resistant fasteners that don’t require drilling. This 300-pack from Funrous includes 300 self-locking washers and 300 J hooks, offering enough parts for multiple panels or future replacements. The coated finish and 304 stainless-steel core make the clips suitable for outdoor exposure without compromising the panel surface.

How do these clips attach mesh to solar panels without drilling?

The Funrous clips use a simple J-hook that folds around the mesh and secures with a self-locking washer that clamps tightly, eliminating the need to puncture panel frames. Installation is quick and reversible, preserving the original integrity of the solar assembly while providing a secure hold.

• Press the J-hook through mesh or around frame edge, then push the self-locking washer onto the hook for a snug fit
• No special tools required—use pliers or fingertips for the washer to lock
• Removable without leaving permanent holes in panel frames

Are these clips durable enough for outdoor, year-round use?

Yes — each component is crafted from 304 stainless steel with a weather-resistant coating that helps block UV and reduces corrosion. The materials and finish are chosen to withstand rain, sun, and temperature changes while retaining mechanical strength and shape.

• 304 stainless steel core resists rust and oxidation
• Black coating gives UV resistance and a low-profile look
• Designed to maintain tension between the hook and washer without loosening

What sizes are included and what types of animals will this deter?

This set includes 300 J-hooks about 1.2 cm long and 0.2 cm in diameter, paired with 300 matching self-locking washers. When used with fine wire mesh or poultry netting, the clips form a barrier effective at keeping birds, pigeons, and many small mammals like squirrels from accessing panel undersides and wiring.

• J-hook length approx. 1.2 cm (0.47 in) and 0.2 cm diameter (0.08 in)
• Best used with wire mesh, poultry netting, or lightweight screening materials
• Intended as a physical deterrent, not a pest control chemical

How many clips do I need per panel and where else can I use them?

Clip quantity depends on panel size and mesh spacing, but a 300-pack supplies dozens of fasten points for multiple arrays or a full-season supply for one or two installations. Beyond solar panels, these small fasteners are useful for securing garden netting, HVAC guards, fencing repairs, and other outdoor applications where a discreet, removable clamp is helpful.

• Estimate 20–60 clips per typical residential solar panel depending on mesh density and perimeter length
• Also suitable for attic vents, gutter guards, and small hardware fixes
• Lightweight and compact for easy storage and on-site use

Who is this for: Homeowners, solar installers, maintenance teams, and DIYers looking for an affordable, non-destructive way to protect solar arrays from birds and small animals. The Funrous 300-pack suits anyone who wants long-lasting, low-visibility fasteners to attach protective mesh or screens without drilling into panel frames. Keep small parts away from children and follow basic safety when working on roofs or ladders.
