FormiPow Cordless Pole Pruner for DeWalt 20V MAX — No Battery, 13 ft Reach & Brushless Motor

The FormiPow Cordless Pole Pruner is a lightweight, extendable pruning tool that runs on DeWalt 20V MAX batteries (battery not included) to reach up to 13 ft and make clean cuts with a brushless motor and dual cutting modes.

Whether you maintain a small garden or trim street trees, this pole pruner combines reach, power and precision in a compact kit. It accepts common DeWalt 20V batteries for cost-effective operation, converts quickly between a handheld shear and a 6.9 ft extension pole, and uses SK5 high-carbon blades with a brushless motor for smoother, longer-lasting performance. Safety features, an LCD status display and a full accessory kit make it practical for homeowners and pros who want a ladder-free pruning solution.

How far can I reach with this tool and how easy is it to adjust?

The extension pole telescopes from 3.8 ft to 6.9 ft (1.17m–2.1m) giving an effective cutting height up to about 13 ft (4 m) without needing a ladder. The head rotates 180° so you can angle cuts vertically or horizontally for different branch positions.

• Telescoping aluminum pole for lightweight strength
• 180° rotatable cutting head for angled access
• Quick transform between handheld and extended modes
• Ideal for high fruit limbs, tall hedges and street trees

What kind of cutting performance and blade sizes does it offer?

Two cutting modes let you match power to the job: a 30 mm (1.2") opening for finer pruning and a 40 mm (1.6") opening for thicker wood. The SK5 high-carbon steel blades hold a sharp edge for clean, healthy cuts while the brushless motor adds torque and runtime over brushed alternatives.

• Mode 1: 30 mm opening for roses, vines and small shoots
• Mode 2: 40 mm opening for tougher branches and limbs
• Brushless motor: improved power, 30% more runtime and longer life
• Sharp SK5 steel blades for smooth, low-damage cuts

How safe and user-friendly is the FormiPow pole pruner?

Safety is built into the controls with a double-trigger activation that prevents accidental starts and an LCD that shows battery level and cut counts so you can manage tasks without surprises. The ergonomic, lightweight design reduces fatigue during extended use.

• Double-trigger system and two-step start for accidental-start protection
• Smart LCD shows battery status and cut counter for workload tracking
• Includes gloves, safety goggles and maintenance tools in the kit
• Lightweight aluminum build for easier maneuvering at height

What comes in the box and what battery do I need?

The complete professional kit supplies everything for immediate use except the battery: pruner body, adjustable extension pole (1.17m–2.1m), two wrenches, sharpening stone, oil bottle, protective gloves, safety goggles and an English manual. It is compatible with DeWalt 20V MAX batteries (DCB200/201/203/204/206, etc.), sold separately.

• Included accessories for maintenance and safe operation
• Works with common DeWalt 20V MAX batteries (battery not included)
• Tool-only option keeps upgrade costs down if you already own DeWalt batteries
• Manual and spare tools simplify long-term upkeep

Who is this for? The FormiPow Cordless Pole Pruner is aimed at homeowners, landscapers and small-scale pros who need ladder-free access to mid- to high-branches and prefer a battery ecosystem rather than a dedicated battery tool. It suits anyone who already owns DeWalt 20V batteries and wants a brushless, extendable pruner with clear safety controls, measurable run-time information and a full maintenance kit. If you need a compact, portable solution for seasonal pruning, fruit tree care or routine hedge trimming without the fuss of cords and ladders, this pruner is designed to fit into that workflow.
