FenceMate Digital Fence Tester Fault Finder rapidly locates faults and displays fence voltage up to 19.9 kV on a large backlit screen for clear, on-the-spot troubleshooting.
If your electric fence is losing power, tripping intermittently, or you just want to confirm energizer output, this handheld FenceMate meter gives fast, reliable diagnostics. Designed for steel, aluminium, polywire, rope, tape and braid, it reads voltage, current and direction simultaneously so you can pinpoint shorts, leakage or weak sections without guessing. The sturdy ABS housing, belt clip and included replaceable 9V battery make it a practical field tool for farmers, ranchers and maintenance crews.
The FenceMate shows both voltage and current direction at the point of measurement so you can tell whether the energizer is feeding the line and where a short or leak is occurring. The large backlit LCD keeps readings readable in dim conditions, and the wireless, handheld design lets you move the length of the fence with minimal setup.
FenceMate is compatible with most electric fence energizers, controllers and chargers and reads voltages up to 19,900 volts (19.9 kV). That broad range covers typical farm and perimeter energizers, letting you check both low and high output systems without a separate tool.
Constructed from engineering-grade ABS polymer, the FenceMate is built to withstand the rough handling that comes with farm work. A replaceable 9V battery is included so you can start testing immediately; the belt clip keeps the meter handy while you walk fence lines.
Use the voltage reading to confirm energizer output and the current/direction indicator to track where the electrical flow stops or diverts. Low voltage at a point suggests leakage or a break beyond that spot; current direction helps locate the side of the fault to inspect next.
Who is this for: FenceMate Digital Fence Tester Fault Finder is intended for farmers, ranch managers, fence contractors and property owners who need a dependable, portable instrument to diagnose and locate faults on electric fences. If you maintain perimeter or livestock fencing made from metal wire or modern polymer conductors and want faster, less guesswork troubleshooting, this tester is a practical addition to your toolkit.
Q: Can this tester measure any fence conductor type?
A: Yes. It works with steel, aluminium, poly wire, rope, tape and braid commonly used in electric fences.
Q: Does the meter need calibration or special setup?
A: No special setup; it’s ready to use with the included 9V battery and requires no routine calibration for typical farm use.
