The product is supplied in a weatherproof solution that can be administered along the animal's backline and is formulated for use on both beef and dairy cattle.

What parasites does this product address on cattle?

Cydectin Pour-On targets a comprehensive list of internal and external parasites commonly found in beef and dairy operations. It covers major gastrointestinal and respiratory worms plus several external ectoparasites, providing a broad-spectrum option for integrated parasite control programs.

• Treats 13 species of internal parasites, including brown stomach worms, lungworms, nodular worms, and barber pole worms.
• Controls external pests such as horn flies, lice, cattle grubs and mites.
• Effective against multiple larval stages of many parasite species.

How is Cydectin Pour-On applied and why is the dye useful?

The product is a pour-on liquid applied along the backline of each animal, allowing fast, hands-on treatment without injections. The formulation contains a purple dye so you can immediately see which animals have been treated, reducing the chance of missed doses in larger herds.

• Pour directly along the midline of the back from the withers to tail head for correct dosing.
• 2.5L bottle provides multiple doses for medium to large herds depending on animal weight.
• Purple dye offers clear visual confirmation of application for herd records.

Is it safe for lactating cows and the pasture ecosystem?

Cydectin Pour-On is labeled for use on lactating cattle and has no milk withholding period or slaughter withdrawal when used as directed, making it suitable for dairy operations following label instructions. Additionally, the formulation is designed to have minimal impact on key beneficial soil organisms when applied correctly.

• Approved for lactating cows with zero milk withhold when label directions are followed.
• No mandatory slaughter withdrawal under label conditions.
• Formulated to be dung beetle and earthworm-friendly when used as directed, supporting pasture health.

How does this product fit into a parasite-control plan?

Use Cydectin Pour-On as one component of a rotational parasite-management program that includes pasture management, animal monitoring and record-keeping. Regular strategic treatments, proper dosing by weight, and attention to re-treatment intervals maximize effectiveness and help slow resistance development.

• Integrate with fecal monitoring and veterinary guidance to time treatments effectively.
• Weigh animals or use weight estimates to ensure accurate dosing per label instructions.
• Keep treatment records and visually confirm application using the purple dye indicator.
