DURATECH 12V Mini Chainsaw 6-Inch Cordless — Lightweight One-Handed Pruner with 21.9 ft/s Chain Speed

The DURATECH 12V Mini Chainsaw is a lightweight, one-handed cordless saw with a 6" guide bar that efficiently trims and cuts branches from 1" to 5" in diameter.

Designed for gardeners, homeowners and weekend landscapers, this compact electric chainsaw pairs a fast 21.9 ft/s chain speed with easy, tool-free setup so you can start pruning or cutting wood without fuss. At just 2.8 lbs with the battery installed, it balances portability with enough cutting power to handle routine yard maintenance, small firewood work, and bush or branch trimming.

How quickly and effectively will it cut typical garden branches?

The DURATECH mini chainsaw delivers a high chain speed that slices through limbs faster than many other cordless mini saws, making light work of 1"–5" diameter branches. The 6" guide bar is sized to reach into tight spots while the included spare chain keeps performance consistent over repeated jobs.

• Chain speed: 21.9 ft/second for efficient cutting action
• Cutting capacity: effective on 1"–5" diameter branches
• 6" guide bar for narrow access and precise cuts
• Includes two chains for extended use before replacement

Is it easy to carry and operate with one hand?

Yes. The saw is purpose-built for one-handed use, weighing only 2.8 lbs with battery, so it reduces arm fatigue during pruning tasks. An ergonomic rubberized grip and a safety lock/trigger sequence help you hold and control the tool comfortably while preventing accidental starts.

• Weight: 2.8 lbs (battery installed) for comfortable handling
• Ergonomic rubberized handle for secure grip and balance
• Safety lock plus trigger to avoid unintended startups
• 100° rotatable blade guard reduces bounce and debris contact

How simple is setup and maintenance for the chainsaw?

Setup is tool-free: insert the rechargeable battery and adjust chain tension with the built-in knob before cutting. Routine chain changes and tensioning are fast thanks to the design, and the kit includes spare chains, a protective guide bar cover and an oil bottle to keep the chain lubricated.

• Tool-free chain installation and replacement for fast field service
• Chain tensioning knob for quick on-the-spot adjustments
• Kit contents: 2 batteries, 2 spare chains, charger, oil bottle, guide bar protector
• Carrying storage bag included for transport and storage

What safety features protect users during cutting?

The DURATECH mini chainsaw includes multiple safety elements to reduce risks while working. A safety switch prevents accidental activation, while the rotatable blade guard and balanced design help control kickback and debris, letting you focus on accurate pruning.

• Safety switch to block unintentional startups
• 100° rotatable blade guard for bounce and debris protection
• Balanced weight distribution for steady one-handed use
• Rubberized handle for secure control during cutting
