The CZA Diatomaceous Earth Duster 2-pack is a handheld powder-sprayer kit designed to fast and evenly apply diatomaceous earth and other fine powders around plants, in the garden, and in small agricultural settings.
This compact applicator set gives hobby gardeners and small-scale growers an easy, controlled way to distribute diatomaceous earth, powders, and desiccants without bulky equipment. Each kit includes two squeezable bulbs, two long brass tubes, a collapsible funnel, clear hoses, a measuring scoop, and disposable gloves so you can fill and apply powder cleanly and accurately. The parts are designed for repeat use, with a threaded seal to keep the metal tube securely attached to the bulb and removable components to clear blockages.
The sprayer uses a squeezable rubber bulb to create bursts of air that propel powder through a long brass tube for precise placement. This hand-operated method reduces waste and limits powder drift compared with shaking from a bag or jar. The included funnel and scoop help you load the bulb without spilling.
CZA upgraded the connection between the brass tube and bulb with a threaded sealing design to keep the metal rod firmly attached during use. The brass tube and nozzle are removable for cleaning, and the rubber bulb is made from odorless, non-toxic material suitable for repeated handheld use. If a nozzle clogs, you can disassemble the tip and clear the passage quickly.
This kit is intended for spot applications in home gardens, vegetable beds, greenhouses, potted plants, and small farms. It works well for targeted treatments — along baseboards, in crawl spaces, around compost piles, and on plant foliage where a light, even dusting is preferred. Because it’s manual and portable, it’s useful for both indoor and outdoor tasks where precise coverage matters.
The set contains two complete applicators with extra accessories to get started: two bulbs, two long metal spray rods, two collapsible funnels, two clear hoses, a scoop, and four pairs of disposable gloves. To reduce clogging, avoid spraying vertically downward, make sure the powder is dry and free-flowing, and clean the nozzle after heavy use. If the nozzle becomes blocked, remove the tube and gently tap or flush it to reopen the flow.
Who is this for: The CZA Diatomaceous Earth Duster 2-pack suits home gardeners, small-scale growers, greenhouse operators, and anyone who prefers a handheld, low-cost tool for precise powder application. It’s ideal when you want neat, targeted coverage without large equipment — especially useful for spot treatments, seed dusting, or applying dry amendments in tight spaces.
Q: Can I use powders other than diatomaceous earth?
A: Yes. Use other fine, dry powders and desiccants, but avoid clumpy or moist materials that will clog the nozzle.
Q: How do I prevent or clear nozzle clogs?
A: Avoid spraying straight down, keep powders dry, and remove the brass tube to tap or rinse the nozzle to clear blockages.
