Bonnie Plants Rosemary Live Edible Aromatic Herb Plant 4-Pack provides a fragrant, perennial rosemary ideal for cooking, containers, and low hedges in USDA zones 8–10.
Native to the Mediterranean and a member of the mint family, rosemary offers upright evergreen growth, needle-like leaves, and a strong fresh flavor that surpasses dried versions. This four-pack of live plants arrives ready to establish in well-drained soil, flourishing in full sun and adapting well to containers so you can move them indoors in colder climates. Regular trimming encourages new, tender stems and prevents the plant from becoming woody as it matures into a reliable culinary and ornamental asset.
Plant rosemary in a sunny spot with excellent drainage; it prefers soil that stays evenly moist while the roots establish and then becomes drought tolerant. Space plants to allow airflow and avoid overly rich soils, which can reduce essential oils in the leaves.
Fresh rosemary lends a pine-like, savory depth to Mediterranean and Italian dishes and blends well with roasted meats, vegetables, breads, and infused oils or vinegars. Its flavor is noticeably brighter fresh, so snip sprigs as needed for the best aroma and taste.
Trim rosemary regularly to promote tender new growth and keep the plant from becoming woody and sparse. Pruning also shapes the plant for hedging or container use; avoid cutting into old, leafless wood where regrowth is slow.
Yes—rosemary adapts very well to containers, which is perfect for gardeners in cooler climates who want to protect plants from winter cold. Potted rosemary can be brought indoors to a bright, cool spot with good airflow to extend its life through colder months.
Who is this for: Home cooks, container gardeners, and landscape enthusiasts who want an aromatic, easy-to-grow perennial that elevates Mediterranean and Italian recipes while serving as a fragrant ornamental. Choose the Bonnie Plants Rosemary 4-pack if you want multiple healthy starters to plant a small herb garden, line a pathway as a low clipped hedge, or keep plenty of fresh rosemary for cooking and preserving.
Q: Is Bonnie rosemary perennial in my area?
A: Yes—these plants are perennial in USDA zones 8–10. In colder zones grow in containers and overwinter indoors.
Q: How often should I water newly planted rosemary?
A: Keep soil evenly moist until established, then water sparingly; rosemary prefers drier conditions once rooted.
