You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

Built in the USA from durable high-density polyethylene (HDPE), this 25-foot roll of 24-inch-high, 60-mil-thick barrier is tailored for cold-climate installations where deeper, rigid containment is required. It combines a tear-resistant sheet with a thickness proven suitable for restraining hardy bamboo species without frequent repairs, offering a long-lasting line of defense for landscapes, garden beds, and near structures.
The barrier forms an impermeable vertical wall that prevents underground bamboo runners (rhizomes) from crossing into protected areas. When installed with the top edge above grade and the bottom extending to the recommended depth, it forces rhizomes to grow along the barrier where they can be cut and removed.
Yes — Bamboo Shield acts as both a root barrier and a water redirector when installed properly. Its dense, non-porous sheet prevents water flow through the barrier, helping to protect foundations and direct excess moisture away from planting zones.
Excavate a vertical trench to the full depth of the barrier and set the sheet so its top edge remains slightly above grade. Overlap or seal any joints only where necessary; continuous runs are ideal. Backfill carefully to avoid wrinkles or folds, and inspect periodically for rhizomes that reach the barrier surface.
At 60 mil, this model balances robustness and cost for colder climates where bamboo can be especially vigorous yet requires a practical, stiff barrier. Thinner membranes under 60 mil have a documented risk of failure when containing aggressive bamboo, while thicker options (80–100 mil) are recommended only for extreme or tropical exposure.
Who this is for: Bamboo Shield 25' x 24" x 60 mil is intended for homeowners, landscapers, and property managers in cold climates who need a reliable, long-lasting physical barrier to contain bamboo and manage subsurface water. It suits installations around garden beds, along property lines, and near foundations where a heavy-duty HDPE sheet provides a practical, maintenance-friendly solution.
Features:
Q: Is 60 mil thick enough to stop bamboo?
A: Yes — 60 mil HDPE is the recommended minimum to reliably contain bamboo in cold climates; thinner barriers have higher failure rates.
Q: Can I join multiple 25-foot sections?
A: Yes. Overlap and secure seams with stainless fasteners or approved welds; continuous runs are best to minimize escape points.
