Live Tuscan Blue rosemary in a 10" pot — an evergreen, fragrant culinary herb that brings fresh flavor and ornamental texture to indoor windowsills, patios, and herb beds.
This American Plant Exchange Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) arrives ready to grow: a vigorous, upright plant with needle-like leaves and blue-violet flowers that supply both attractive greenery and usable culinary sprigs. Grown in a 10-inch container, it’s sized for large kitchen planters, patios, or landscape accents and ships with a thank-you card and Greg App care information to help you establish it quickly. Rosemary prefers bright sun and well-draining soil, tolerates dry conditions once rooted, and responds well to regular harvesting, making it a practical choice for cooks and gardeners who want low-maintenance fragrance and flavor.
Young plants can be gently harvested once they’ve developed several robust stems and the root ball is established—usually a few weeks after settling into a sunny spot. Start by snipping small amounts from the tips, which encourages fuller growth without stressing the plant.
Rosemary favors full sun, warm air, and soil that drains well; it does not like consistently wet roots. Place the 10" pot where it receives at least six hours of direct sunlight daily and use a gritty, airy potting mix to prevent waterlogging.
Rosemary is drought-tolerant once established, so water sparingly and let the soil dry between waterings to avoid root rot. Prune regularly to shape the plant and harvest culinary sprigs; light trims after flowering keep it vigorous and prevent legginess.
Yes—when placed on a sunny windowsill or bright room, it makes a fragrant indoor accent that also supplies fresh herbs for cooking. Outdoors, its upright form and violet-blue blossoms add year-round texture to mixed containers or herb beds.
Who is this for: This live Tuscan Blue Rosemary is ideal for home cooks, container gardeners, and anyone who wants a low-maintenance, fragrant evergreen that doubles as décor and a fresh herb source. It’s a solid pick for apartment gardeners with sunny windows, kitchen gardeners who want instant flavor, and landscapers looking to add drought-tolerant texture to mixed beds.
Q: Is this rosemary plant edible and safe for cooking?

Q: Will this plant survive winter outdoors?
