Each stake harvests sunlight to power short sonic bursts every 30 seconds and a mild ground vibration that unsettles pests but is safe for people and pets. The set of ten covers medium-to-large yards when placed at recommended intervals, and the weatherproof ABS housing is built for year-round outdoor use.

How does the Tirgo solar repellent work in my yard?

The units alternate short ultrasonic sounds and ground pulses that create an unpleasant environment for burrowing animals. The pattern repeats automatically when charged by sunlight, and the effect is meant to encourage pests to relocate rather than harm them. Placement across your lawn helps form a deterrent grid for pests that tunnel underground.

Emits 3–4 second pulses about every 30 seconds when charged

Vibration plus ultrasound targets both ground-dwelling and surface animals

Solar panel recharges internal cell—no wiring or batteries to replace

Recommended spacing: one stake approximately every 96 feet for optimal coverage

How do I install and maintain the stakes for best performance?

Installation is straightforward: charge the devices in direct sunlight for at least two days before first use, then press each stake firmly into soil where it receives sun. Keep the solar panel clean and oriented to maximize charging; a dirty or shaded panel reduces runtime. Place stakes at the edge of visible turf damage and near suspected burrow entrances. Homeowners and renters seeking a maintenance-light, chemical-free solution to burrowing pests and occasional snake visits will find the Tirgo 10-pack useful. It’s aimed at people who prefer environmentally friendly pest control, want a no-fuss solar option, and need a product that withstands outdoor elements while remaining safe around children and family pets.
